BIOGRAPHY

Anne Lowe holds a Bachelor of Music Education from l’Université de Moncton (1995), a Masters in Music from the University of Western Ontario (1985) and a Doctoral degree in Education and Music Education from the University of Illinois (1995). She has a broad experience in teaching piano, voice, choral music and music in public schools in New Brunswick and Ontario at the primary, secondary and post-secondary levels. She has given conferences and published in the areas of Music education and Integration of the arts in the language arts curriculum.

Dr. Lowe has been employed by the Université de Moncton since 1990. During the last 18 years of her career, she has taught courses in Music education methods and Integrated learning and was Associate Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Education from 2000 to 2007.
